How do modular homes differ?

Are all modular homes the same?

Or are they different from each other?

While most modular homes may seem similar at first glance, every manufacturer has its own standards, quality benchmarks, and material choices.

Having worked with over 500 timber frame homes in Sweden for 10 years, we offer our clients Scandinavian standards and quality.

Here are 12 aspects that set us apart from others!

#1 STRONG HOME FRAMEWORK

We use calibrated C24-grade timber for construction instead of regular sawn timber. This ensures greater precision and durability.

#2 SPECIALIZED SEALING MATERIALS

To ensure airtight homes, we use SIGA membranes, a globally recognized solution. These are carefully sealed with special adhesive tapes, following manufacturer recommendations for optimal performance.

#3 WIND-RESISTANT STRUCTURE

For wind stability, we use both windproof gypsum boards and diffusion membranes, while many in Latvia only use diffusion membranes.

#4 DURABLE INTERIOR FINISHING

We enhance structural stability by adding OSB boards beneath the drywall. This allows clients to easily incorporate wall-mounted design elements anywhere in their dream home.

#5 HIGH-QUALITY SWITCHES AND OUTLETS

Our homes feature switches and outlets by the globally acclaimed manufacturer JUNG, ensuring both aesthetics and long-lasting functionality.

#6 CUSTOM CARPENTRY SOLUTIONS

Custom carpentry items such as kitchen furniture, window sills, and solid wood interior doors are measured, produced, and installed to meet individual client preferences.

#7 LONG-LASTING ROOFING

We use full wooden decking and specialized underlays for the roof substructure, unlike sparse decking. This extends roof lifespan and improves noise insulation from rainfall.

#8 SAFE UTILITY INSTALLATION

We install electrical and water systems in specialized corrugated pipes, employing joint-free technology to reduce risks of short circuits or leaks, while simplifying future replacements if needed.

#9 ENHANCED BATHROOM WATERPROOFING

For bathroom waterproofing, we use special membranes instead of regular mastics, providing better protection against moisture.

Additionally, we install plywood sheets behind moisture-resistant drywall for added stability, enabling secure mounting of shower walls, cabinets, or other features.

#10 SCANDINAVIAN-STANDARD INTERIOR WORK

We use Flügger materials and technologies, which are renowned for their quality in Scandinavian countries, ensuring a superior interior finish.

#11 PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Our team consists of skilled professionals who select the best solutions and materials. We oversee quality at every stage of construction and invite clients to witness the building process at our Sigulda facility.
